We Love Paving is hiring CDL Commercial Drivers to support commercial paving, concrete, and construction projects across multiple regions in California.
This role focuses on commercial and regional operations, transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to active job sites while offering consistent work and long-term stability within a growing organization.
A Critical Commercial Role in Construction Operations
The CDL Commercial Driver plays a vital role in keeping commercial construction projects moving efficiently.
This position connects yards, suppliers, and job sites, ensuring materials are delivered safely, on time, and according to project schedules, directly supporting field crews and operational success.
Primary Driving Responsibilities
Operate commercial vehicles, including 10-wheel trucks and dirt haulers, to transport construction materials between yards, suppliers, and active job sites.
Ensure safe operation through routine vehicle inspections, full compliance with DOT and safety regulations, coordination with operations teams, and efficient execution of regional routes supporting commercial construction projects.
Driver Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for candidates with a valid CDL license, proven commercial driving experience, and familiarity with construction environments.
The ideal driver is dependable, safety-conscious, professional, and adaptable, with previous experience in paving, concrete, or commercial construction considered a strong advantage.
Regional Routes & Coverage Area
This position supports regional commercial routes across Modesto, Tracy, San Jose, San Mateo, Stockton, Santa Rosa, and Sacramento, with flexibility to assist in additional locations as project demands evolve.
This is not a national long-haul role; all routes remain within California.

This is a commercial regional CDL driving position. While it does not involve national long-haul routes, it does include multiple cities and commercial job sites across California, offering more variety and consistency than strictly local driving roles.
You will support commercial paving, concrete, parking lot construction, industrial facilities, and large-scale construction projects, transporting materials and equipment critical to daily operations.
Drivers primarily operate 10-wheel trucks, dirt haulers, and other commercial construction vehicles designed for heavy material transport.
A valid CDL license and prior commercial driving experience are required. Experience working in construction, paving, or concrete environments is highly preferred.
