Role: Business Development

As a Business Development agent, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Generate business, leads, network, and build connections to increase company sales and revenue
  2. Prospect, qualify and develop target accounts from outbound cold-calling, emailing and direct mailers
  3. Enhance existing processes/procedures to achieve lead generation goals, report on metrics and obtain KPIs
  4. Empower other team members to be successful by fostering culture of inclusivity, collaboration and leadership
  5. Capitalize on solutions presented by Salesforce CRM, Jobber, Pipedrive and other software to enhance lead prospecting and sales management
  6. Exceed sales quotas and increase profitability through effective sales strategy and business planning
  7. Analyze and calculate field measurements, survey plans and plot plans to create proposals and process work orders
  8. Contribute, create and launch new digital prospecting strategies that result in sales increases
  9. Attend company meetings and provide updates on progress and reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and on an annual basis
  10. Have a flexible work schedule including but not limited to working outside of business hours, such as weekends and evenings as needed
  11. Learn company numbers and goals to ensure profitability
  12. Prepare scopes of works and negotiate contracts favorably
  13. Meet and develop clientele throughout the N. California region (Bay Area & Central Valley)
  14. Attend networking events in search for prospects
  15. Work from home, from company office and/or from the field as preferred or required
  16. Take inbound leads, nurture relationships, close sales and manage projects provided bycompany
  17. Work with Operations Manager to schedule jobs on company calendar based on crewavailability
  18. Visit job sites, manage crew and projects to ensure quality assurance
  19. Request testimonials and reviews from clients after delivering projects in video or in writing
  20. Help the company build a positive reputation online and offline and document such eventsto share with the public
  21. Help company improve and streamline processes and procedures
  22. Come up with ideas to help company become more efficient
  23. Help build the brand, WE LOVE PAVING®
  24. Tasks may be added, changed or modified as business requirements evolve.
